Payments are accepted by bank transfer only.

Block Booking Expiry Policy

Prepaid lesson packages are intended for regular ongoing tuition and should normally be used within 2 months of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Any refund requested for unused hours will be calculated after deducting lessons already taken at the standard hourly rate.

Prepaid lessons are non-transferable and may only be used by the student named at the time of booking.

Where long periods pass without lessons being taken, the instructor reserves the right to review pricing before remaining hours are used.

Driving Tests

Practical driving tests must be booked and managed directly by the student using the official Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency booking service.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the test date, time, and location are agreed with the instructor before booking. Booking a test without prior agreement does not guarantee instructor availability.

Use of the instructor’s vehicle for a driving test is subject to:

  • Instructor availability

  • The student being assessed as test-ready

  • Use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test is charged at the equivalent of a 2-hour lesson

From 31 March 2026, a practical driving test booking may only be changed twice. Any further changes require cancellation and a new booking.

From 12 May 2026, only the student taking the test is permitted to book, change, cancel, or manage their driving test booking.

From 9 June 2026, test appointments may only be moved to:

  • the same test centre

  • the original test centre first booked

  • one of the 3 nearest available test centres

The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle if:

  • The student is not considered test-ready

  • There are safety concerns

  • The test has been booked without prior agreement

Students are responsible for complying with all DVSA rules, notice periods, and booking restrictions.

If the instructor advises that the student is not ready, postponement will be discussed. The final decision regarding use of the vehicle remains with the instructor.

Cancellations & Lateness

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full lesson fee remains payable.

Students may cancel a maximum of 3 lessons within any 2-month period. Exceeding this may result in the regular weekly lesson slot being reassigned.

When the instructor arrives, you will be contacted by call or message.

If you do not arrive within 15 minutes, the lesson will be charged in full.

If you arrive late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time and the full lesson fee will apply.

Instructor Cancellations

If the instructor needs to cancel a lesson, an alternative time will be offered where possible, including weekends.

If no suitable replacement time is available, any prepaid lesson will be carried forward to the following week.

Conduct & Safety

A respectful learning environment is expected at all times.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, aggressive behaviour, or disrespect will not be tolerated.

The instructor reserves the right to stop or refuse lessons where behaviour is considered inappropriate or where safety is affected.

Use of the vehicle may be withdrawn immediately if safety is at risk.

Legal Requirements & Liability

Students must hold a valid provisional or full driving licence and ensure they are legally entitled to drive.

The student is responsible for informing the instructor of any changes affecting their legal ability to drive.

The instructor cannot be held responsible for losses caused by DVSA changes, delays, cancellations, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Medical Conditions & Additional Learning Needs

Students must inform the instructor of any medical condition, medication, learning difficulty, or additional support need that may affect driving or learning.

This information helps lessons be planned safely and appropriately.

Where necessary, students remain responsible for ensuring they meet DVSA medical fitness requirements.
