Meet Radu
I’m originally from Deva and have been living in the UK since July 2016.
I started teaching driving in June 2024 because I enjoy helping people learn something important that stays with them for life. I have always been a calm and friendly person, and becoming a driving instructor felt like the right direction for me. It also gives me the chance to build my work around family life, which matters a lot to me.
I believe every learner needs a different approach, so I always try to adapt each lesson to the person sitting next to me. Some need more time, some need more confidence, and some simply need the right explanation at the right moment. My aim is to make lessons feel comfortable, clear, and productive from the beginning.
Many of my pupils tell me they appreciate the calm way I teach and the supportive atmosphere during lessons. For me, it is important that learners feel safe during lessons, gain confidence gradually, and develop good driving habits that will stay with them long after passing their test.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching football.
The best part of this job is seeing someone pass and knowing that you have helped them build a real life skill. It is a very satisfying feeling to know that someone leaves lessons not only with a pass certificate, but as a safer and more confident driver.
